We started Fumum because we wanted perfume to feel social—something you experience, share, and shape with other people. Basically: perfume, but social.

Instead of a committee deciding what’s “in,” we ask real people to smell, test, and vote on what feels good to them. That feedback decides what we launch.

Our perfumes aren’t based on trends. They’re based on you.

And we’re not here to make big promises or use fancy perfume language. We just make scents that feel personal, approachable, and worth wearing every day. All our perfumes are made for every body—wear what feels good to you.

Who’s making this stuff?

We're Meghan and Damoon, the noses behind Fumum.

Meghan brings a brand strategist’s perspective to perfumery, with over a decade helping companies communicate like actual humans.

Damoon is a self-taught perfumer of ten years and the creative force behind our design—from scent to packaging. He cares about how things feel, not just how they look.

We started in our Brooklyn apartment, mixing tiny batches and testing them with friends and family. Those early experiments became our first perfumes. Now we’re scaling that feeling into something bigger.

What’s inside the bottle

We use a mix of natural and synthetic ingredients. Both have their place.

Natural doesn’t always mean safer—or better for the environment. Synthetics don’t always mean “bad.” What matters to us is how ingredients perform, how they smell, and how they impact the planet.

Every Fumum fragrance lists its full set of ingredients, so you know exactly what you’re putting on your skin. No mystery formulas or vague terms.

Our goal is simple: make perfumes that smell great, feel good to wear, and are made with transparency from the start.

What we’re building next

Fumum isn’t just about wearing perfume. It’s about making it social.

Our community gets to smell things early, test them out in real life, and vote on what’s worth launching. That feedback decides what sticks and what doesn’t.
